Record Retrieval Service Repository Fee

Description

The Records Retrieval Service is for NYG&B members who cannot get to New York's key repositories in person but have identified a document or text which they need copied. 

This purchase is a repository service fee and includes up to three documents at a single repository. Cost of print copies will be billed later, if applicable.

Members conduct their own research and then submit a specific request for a copy of a document or text that they have identified in the collections of the New York Public Library, the New York City Municipal Archives, or the New-York Historical Society, the New York State Archives and Library in Albany, or another repository where possible.  Our staff then works with a team of experienced volunteers who can make copies of the requested materials.
