Conference Participation and Policies
By registering for and attending the 2026 New York State Family History Conference, participants acknowledge that they attend voluntarily and agree to release and hold harmless the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society, conference organizers, and their affiliates, employees, officers, members, volunteers, and agents from any liability related to participation in conference activities.
Cancellations: Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by August 1, 2026. Approved refunds will be issued less a $50 service fee. No refunds will be issued within 30 days of the event, and registrations are non-transferable and non-shareable.
Photography and Recording: Photographs and video recordings may be taken during the conference. By attending, participants grant permission for the NYG&B to use these materials for promotional and educational purposes.
