Summary

Join the NYG&B for our annual three days of in-person research in Albany. Before you arrive, make the most of your time in Albany with online pre-planning activities in September 2025, including a virtual tour of the facilities; an on-demand orientation session; and an advance, personal consultation with an expert genealogist.

Following September’s pre-planning activities, participants will have three days in October of in-person assisted research and genealogical camaraderie with the people who know New York best.

Waiver Statement:

Requests for registration cancellation must be received in writing before 27 July 2026. Refunds will incur a $100 service fee. No refunds will be given within 60 days of the first day of the research tour and partial refunds will not be given if the registrant does not complete the event. Registrations are not transferable or shareable in any manner.

Photographs and video recordings will be taken throughout the event. All tour participants agree to allow the use of those materials in all published and unpublished mediums.
