I hereby release, waive, and forever discharge any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature against the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society and all those associated with the 2025 New York State Family History Conference, its affiliates, employees, officers, members, volunteers, and all other agents (the “released parties”), either in law or in equity, to the fullest extent permissible by law, including but not limited to damages or losses caused by negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of the released parties, including but not limited to death, bodily injury, illness, economic loss or out of pocket expenses, or loss or damage to property, which I, my heirs, assignees, next of kin and/or legally appointed or designated representatives, may have or which may hereinafter accrue on my behalf, which arise or may hereafter arise from my participation in the 2025 New York State Family History Conference.
Cancellations: Requests for registration cancellation must be received in writing prior to 1 August 2025. All refunds incur a $50 service fee. No refunds will be given within 30 days of the start of the event. No partial refunds are given if the registrant does not complete the event. Registrations are not transferable or shareable in any manner.
Recording and Photography Release: Photographs and video recordings will be taken throughout the event. All conference participants agree to allow the use of those materials in all published and unpublished mediums.
