Explore how to use search engines (such as Google) alongside key websites such as FamilySearch and Ancestry and online newspapers and digital collections. These unique sessions will include guided tours of key online resources and one-on-one consultations, enabling you to focus on your research. These sessions are ideal for those desiring to learn how to better explore the Empire State through online resources and will be applicable to any time period or area within New York State.

This same course will be offered February 12–14, 2024, for those who cannot attend the summer sessions.

Waiver Statement:

Requests for registration cancellations must be received in writing before May 5, 2024. Refunds will incur a $50 service fee. No refunds will be given within 60 days of the first day of the event, and partial refunds will not be given if the registrant does not complete the event. Registrations are not transferable or shareable in any manner.

Photographs and video recordings will be taken throughout the event. All conference participants agree to allow the use of those materials in all published and unpublished mediums.
