Summary

Join us October 27–29, 2026, for three days of uncovering your New York ancestors. With the NYG&B headquarters as home base, you will be steps away from our statewide collections at the New York Public Library (NYPL). To guide your search, participants will receive a personal, one-on-one consultation with a New York expert genealogist at our offices, helping to uncover the right collections and hone research techniques. I hereby release, waive, and forever discharge any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature against the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society and all those associated with the Research in New York City Tour which arise or may hereafter arise from my participation in the Research in New York City Tour.

Cancellations: Requests for registration cancellation must be received in writing before 20 August 2026. Refunds will incur a $100 service fee. No refunds will be given within 60 days of the first day of the research tour and partial refunds will not be given if the registrant does not complete the event. Registrations are not transferable or shareable in any manner.

Recording and Photography Release: Photographs and video recordings will be taken throughout the event. All tour participants agree to allow the use of those materials in all published and unpublished mediums.
